President’s Message November 2022

Prof. Dr. Maria Müller Staub (PhD, EdN, MNS, RN, FNI, FEANS)

Dear ACENDIO members and colleagues

The wonderful tree colors of fall are fading. Morning fog over the meadows and falling leaves indicate that winter is around the corner. Let’s support people who fear – or already have – too cold and miss energy, and don’t forget persons who lost loved ones or their homes during this time of war crisis.

Nurses and health professionals again are needed to help the wounded and sick, and to help overcome the psychological stress these times bring along. At the same time, we face a big nurse shortage internationally, which also needs our attention. As clinical nurses and as faculty it is a duty to empower each other in going on and making a difference!

As an association, we can strengthen each other in friendship, by networking and contributing through scientific work to enhance care quality, eHealth technologies and meaningful digitalization.

We look forward to meeting you in person at the 14th ACENDIO Conference, March 16-18, 2023 in Rome, Italy, and we are proud that over 100 abstracts were accepted.

Take the chance of early registration and get information on the growing conference program

All the best, stay healthy, be supported and supporting

Maria Müller Staub
ACENDIO President
